58 JLG booms for Vertex

Russian crane and access sales and rental company Vertex has ordered 58 new JLG lifts over half of them 80ft and over.

The new order that is pure fleet expansion, includes two 45ft diesel powered 450AJ, six battery electric E450AJ, three of the new 52ft 520AJ articulated booms and 13 600AJ. Larger models include two 66ft 660SJ and three 86ft 860SJ telescopics, plus 18 80ft 800AJ, eight 125ft 1250AJP articulated booms and finally three 150ft booms, including two of the new 1500AJ articulated booms and one 1500SJ telescopic.

Karel Huijser (L) of JLG confirms the deal with Dimitri Pankin of Vertex

The new machines are aimed at meeting demand from the new locations that the company opened last year, including an outlet in St. Petersburg and another in Kazakhstan. This year Vertex plans to open in Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar and are part of a three year development strategy in which it is investing over €25 million.
