ALE and Cosco team up

UK based heavy lift and haulage group ALE has signed a memorandum of understanding Cosco Shipping Project Logistics of China.

Cosco is one of China’s leading shipping and logistics groups ofering a wide spectrum of services, ranging from regular shipping, to warehousing, harbour crane shipping and heavy transport. Under the agreement it will work with ALE on specific heavy lift and move projects.

ALE director for South East Asia Mark Foreman, said: “Cosco has a well established long term and close co-operation with large state-owned enterprises, as well as vast experience in logistics project management. Matched with our specialist heavy transportation and lifting equipment, we can complement and strengthen each other’s’ capabilities. This mutually beneficial agreement means we can ultimately actively seek a larger market share both nationally and globally.”
