Prangl celebrates

Austrian crane and access rental company Prangl celebrated its 50th anniversary with a big open day last week at its new headquarters in Liesing, Vienna.

The company welcomed almost 4,000 visitors, including customers, suppliers, employees and their families to the new 67,000 square metre facility with a wide range of activities, including competitions, games and live music.

A wide range of equipment was on show

Chief executive Christian Prangl said: "My praise goes to our employees, who have been so professional. We are delighted that so many guests accepted our invitation and have joined us at the new location. Onto many successful years in Vienna!"

Prangl runs a fleet of over 200 cranes and 2,000 aerial lifts along with a substantial number of telehandlers and operates a substantial heavy transport and rigging business. It has 17 locations in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia, and employs 650, of which 265 will be based in Vienna.
