CTE spider for TAH

UK rental company TAH Access Platforms has taken delivery of a 23 metre CTE Traccess T230 dual power spider lift.

The T230 offers up to 12 metres of outreach and an unrestricted platform capacity of 200kg. It has an overall width of 800mm, an overall length of 5.28 metres and weighs 3,000kg. Power comes from a Kubota diesel with an AC alternative for use when working inside or alongside buildings.

Derek Mark of TAH (L) takes delivery of the T230 from Graeme Hill of CTE

TAH owner Derek Mark said: “Our customers wanted us to provide a compact 23 metre spider lift to enable us to provide a one stop hire facility. We spent time researching the marketplace for a 23 metre machine that was compact, narrow enough to go through a standard door or garden gateway, well proven, and could offer a variable jacking option, and after evaluating various spider lifts decided on a dual powered CTE Traccess T230, with a Kubota diesel engine and 110v mains power.”

CTE managing director Graeme Hill added: “We are delighted to receive another very important order from such a highly valued and loyal customer, and we are pleased that its first CTE 23 metre track mounted platform was chosen to complement their existing fleet. Based in south London, TAH Access Platforms runs a fleet of CTE truck mounted and spider lifts ranging from 20 to 26 metres of working height.
