Three Raimondis for Sydney waterfront

Australian property developer Piety THP has purchased and taken delivery of three 10 tonne capacity flat-top Raimondi tower cranes - two MRT159s and one MRT152.

The cranes - sold and delivered by Raimondi's Australian dealer Strictly Cranes - have been erected on a Sydney waterfront development and should be on-site for around three years.

The MRT159s have a maximum jib of 65 metres, with a capacity at the jib tip of 1,650kg. The MRT152 also has a 65 metre jib, but capacity at the tip is 1,260kg.

Strictly Cranes commercial director Ramey Alkhoshaibi said: “We recommended the Raimondi MRT159s for this jobsite as this tower crane can be climbed to heights that other heavy lifting machinery can’t. This particular model’s lifting capacity is exceptional and makes it a major asset on large-scale developments.”

“With several concurrent projects, the MRT152 is versatile enough that it meets all of our client’s respective needs. On this particular jobsite, One The Waterfront, the cranes will be lifting rebar, precast panels, and other site materials such as timbers, formwork and scaffolding. The cranes will also hoist excavators and other heavy machinery as needed.”
