JLG hybrid for Xtra

Dutch rental company Xtra Materieel has taken delivery of a 40ft JLG H340AJ hybrid articulated boom lift.

The H340AJ provides an outreach of 6.7 metres and a platform capacity of 230kg. It is powered by a a full eight unit battery pack with four wheel direct AC electric hub motor drive supported by a small diesel generator. The boom lift was delivered by Riwal, JLG's distributor for the Netherlands.

Xtra Materieel's new H340AJ

Xtra Materieel owner Eric Westerhof said: “Xtra Materieel decided to invest in the JLG H340AJ through Riwal, because we care about the environment and quality for our customers. Besides that, I think it is very important to promote corporate social responsibility in this industry by investing in hybrid machines. We have an excellent cooperation with Riwal, which we continue to build upon with additional JLG investments with them.”
