Orlando area manager for Sims

Florida based rental company Sims Crane has appointed Art Gilfus as regional area manager in Orlando.

In his new role he will manage sales, operations and customer relationships for the Central Florida region as well the as attainment of long term business goals and objectives.

Art Gilfus

Gilfus joins the company from John Deere dealer Nortrax Equipment where he was most recently general manager of the Nashville and Chattanooga locations. He has been with the company since 2005. Prior to that he worked with Demag mobile cranes as North America sales manager and with Ringhaver Equipment (now Ringpower) where he managed the Tampa, Florida location.

Sims vice president of marketing Dean Sims said: “Art boasts more than two decades of management experience and we are thrilled to have him on the Sims team. We expect his extensive experience to be a tremendous asset for us in Central Florida.”
