Dual work at height fatalities
A man died last weekend after he fell from the forks of a telehandler he was using to make a repair to a barn roof in Kigarriffe near Clonakilty, West Cork, Ireland.
The man, Conor Lordan, 52, fell six metres to his death, in spite of our requests we do not know if he was standing on a pallet, on the forks directly or if he was using a fork mounted platform that came off the forks.
In a separate incident in Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow, Ireland another farmer in his 70s was also working on the roof of a barn, when he fell from the ladder he was using. Both were sorting out storm damage.
