CTE Traccess for newcomer

UK access service sand inspection company, NEG Services has added spider lifts to its new rental operation.

The St. Neots, Cambridgshire, based company has been servicing and inspecting aerial lifts since 2001, and more recently began offering a few easily transported platforms for rental. It has now entered the spider lift rental market with the delivery of a new 23 metre CTE Traccess T230 with dual power.

The Traccess T230 has a working height of 23 metres, and An outreach of 12 metres with unrestricted 200kg platform capacity. And yet the machine remains compact, with an overall width of 800mm, an overall height of two metres and a stowed length of 5.28 metres, total weight is three tonnes.

NEG's new CTE Traccess 230 is handed over

Owner Nick Goodridge said: “We spent a good deal of time and effort researching the market for a machine that was compact, narrow enough to go through a standard door or garden gateway, well proven, and could offer a variable jacking option. After evaluating various spiderlifts we made the decision to go with a dual powered Traccess T230, with a Kubota diesel engine and 110 volt mains power.”

”Being a relative newcomer to the hire industry the CTE230 was the perfect choice to add to my fleet, and being light-weight I'm able to transport it by trailer saving me extra expense of investing in a lorry. With the enquiries I've already had for the CTE230 and the great customer service received from, I look forward to doing business with them again soon”.

Graeme Hill of CTE UK added: “We are delighted to receive this very important order from Nick Goodridge, a relative newcomer into the access hire market, and we are pleased that a CTE 23m track mounted platform was chosen to complement their current fleet of access platforms. I look forward to working with Nick and NEG as they continue to expand over the coming years.”

Top man Nick. Our Hinowas have offered great returns and been very very reliable. Also allows you to approach a different client base, rather than the usual rate war with the Nationals. Onwards and upwards, going to be a great 2018!!!
