Nigerian mega contract for Mammoet
Mammoet has been awarded the contract to provide heavy lifting and transport solutions for construction of Africa’s biggest oil refinery in Nigeria.
The multi billion dollar Dangote Oil Refinery will have a capacity of 650,000 barrels a day and generate thousands of jobs. The contract was signed in Lagos on Tuesday, with the refinery scheduled to come on stream in 2019. Under the contract Mammoet will transport, lift and install all of the over dimensional cargo for the refinery.

Harm Tiddens, general manager Mammoet West Africa said: “We are delighted to work together with our Nigerian partner Northridge Engineering on one of the most significant projects that will help the economies of Nigeria and the West Africa region.
