GHCs for Indian port

Indian port terminal Paradip Port has taken delivery of three 100 tonne GHC100 mobile harbour cranes from Chinese manufacturer Genma.

The GHC100 has a maximum radius of 48 metres, and can lift its maximum capacity at 20 metres. The GHC models range from 20 to 150 tonnes, while the working radius ranges from 26 to 52 metres. The new cranes are the first of a new generation from the manufacturer which includes an all new octagonal tower structure to provide greater rigidity and resistance to twisting pressures, a full rotation chassis, automatic self-levelling chassis and automatic centring and self-aligning spreaders.

The three new Genma GHC100 mobile harbour cranes

Established over 20 years ago, Genma also manufactures ship loaders, unloaders and floating terminals alongside mobile harbour cranes. The company is headquartered in Shanghai, with a manufacturing facility in Nantong, eastern China. It also has locations in Singapore, India and Canada.

Genma said that it plans to open more overseas sales and service locations, including Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Guatemala, Columbia, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
