Magni adds Scottish dealer

Newly formed Magni subsidiary Magni UK, has appointed sales and rental company Hodge Plant as its sole telehandler dealer for Scotland, providing backup for new and existing customers.

Established in 1986, the Hamilton based company has been the Case Construction Equipment dealer for Scotland since 2014, and runs runs a rental fleet of around 100 machines. It has already taken delivery of a range of Magni demonstration machines and will stock a range of fast moving or critical replacement parts.

Hodge managing director Alistair Hodge said: “After many months researching both the customers and the manufacturers within the 360 degree and heavy lift telescopic handler market it was clear that Magni was a brand that kept being discussed. I looked into the machine specifications and the ranges available and quickly realised that the machines stood out taking build quality, technology, safety features and performance to a level way above their competitors.”

“We have three depots in Scotland with nine engineers who will be factory trained on the entire Magni product line. The locations are ideally situated to service the construction, ports, quarrying and oil & gas industries. Our knowledge in these markets is already in depth and we see Magni being a natural performer in these arenas.”
