Snorkel micro scissors for Banner

UK rental company Banner Plant has taken delivery of a batch of Snorkel low level scissor lifts.

The order includes the 10ft S3010P push around scissor lifts, which offer a working height of five metres with a platform capacity of 240kg and an overall weight of 370kg. The balance of the order is made up of the self-propelled version of the machine, the S3010E which incorporates direct electric drive at full height. It has a similar specification to the push around model but is slightly wider with a platform capacity of 227kg and an overall weight of 495kg.

The new platforms will be based at the company’s Rotherham depot where they are a new product category.

Depot manager Phil James said: “This is a new product category for our business, and we are grateful to Snorkel UK for their assistance in helping us correctly position this product within our current offering. Established over 65 years ago, Banner Plant is based in Dronfield, Sheffield, with depots across Yorkshire, Derbyshire and more recently it added two depots in Leicestershire with the acquisition of Premier Plant and Tool Hire last year - see: Banner acquires Premier. The company’s range includes telehandlers, aerial work platforms and general equipment and tools.
