500t Liebherr to Russia

Russian rental company M-Kran has taken delivery of a 500 tonne Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 All Terrain crane.

The eight axle LTM 1500-8.1 features a seven section 84 metre main boom plus Y-Guy superlift system, and can be equipped with a 91 metre luffing jib or a 56 metre fixed jib. It joins an LTM 1500-8.1 that the company has had in its fleet for several years.

M-Kran sales manager Alexandr Conic said: "The 500 tonne machine is the fourth Liebherr crane delivered to us in the past year. The LTM 1500-8.1 will mainly be used in bridge construction and in the petrochemicals industry. In some cases, customers expressly ask for this crane model as it is very popular in Russia."

Established in 2007, family-run M-Kran is headquartered in Moscow, and also has a depot in Jekaterinburg, east Russia. The company employs 100, and runs a fleet comprising of 40 telescopic All Terrain cranes, 35 of which have been supplied by Liebherr.
