Snorkel UK to distribute Bluelift

Ruthmann has appointed Snorkel UK as the exclusive distributor for its Bluelift spider lift range in the UK and Ireland.

As part of the agreement which begins immediately Snorkel UK will sell the full line Ruthmann-Bluelift product line, and spare parts as well as providing technical support for new and existing Bluelift machines in the territory. Bluelift was previously handled by Height Lift & Shift (HLS). Ruthmann truck mounted platforms will continue to be distributed by long time truck mounted lift specialist ASI – Access Sales International.

Bluelift, founded by the Marti family in 2004 was acquired by German truck mounted platform manufacturer Ruthmann in 2016, and was renamed Ruthmann Italia. See Ruthmann acquired Bluelift

This move has been rumoured for a good month or two, Andrew Fishburn of Snorkel UK is very familiar with the Bluelift product line and the Marti family, having launched the brand in the UK when he was part owner and managing director of HLS. He will be delighted to have gained access to the product line in his role with Snorkel, which will add a first class product to the range that the business offers.
