Smart move to Bristol

UK vehicle mounted platform rental specialist Smart Platforms opened the doors of a new depot in Avonmouth, Bristol yesterday as part of its expansion strategy.

With the majority of the company’s rentals being self-drive contracts which are collected from the depot, location is a key factor, so all of the Smart Platform locations are within two miles of a major motorway junction. The new branch is no exception, located on the St Andrews industrial estate it is just a mile from Junction 18/18a of the M5 motorway, which provides fast routes to a large commercial region including South Wales.

A new local team has been employed that includes experienced access and rental staff, and the depot will offer a full range of truck mounted lifts from 10 to 33 metres, on both self-drive and operated basis. The company will also offer a range of operator training courses from the location.
