Sunbelt acquires in Atlanta

Sunbelt Rentals - the North American division of Ashtead - has acquired Nickell Rental of Newnan, Georgia, including its four locations in the greater Atlanta area.

Established by Tom Nickell in 1998, the company was jointly owned with his son Josh, and provides a wide range of equipment, including aerial lifts to small and mid size contractors, homeowners, and the light industrial market in the region. Sunbelt has already started integrating the new locations, adding to their fleets and product range. Josh Nickell has joined Sunbelt initially as a transition manger.

Chief executive Josh Nickell – who is also the current president of the American Rental Association in Georgia said: “I have very high expectations for our team.
