Mammoet expands Mid East fleet

Mammoet Middle East has taken delivery of 35 All Terrain, Rough Terrain and crawler cranes, adding to its Middle East based fleet.

The cranes in the order include 13 Tadano Rough Terrains with capacities of between 50 and 80 tonnes, 17 Tadano and Liebherr All Terrain cranes raning from 55 to 110 tonnes, and five Liebherr and Demag crawlers wiht capacities of between 300 and 1,250 tonnes. All of the cranes will be available through the company's branches in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Managing director for Middle East and Africa Martijn Kuipers said: “This expansion will allow us to provide a complete range of heavy lifting, installation and transportation solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients more efficiently. The enhanced availability of the equipment within the region will considerably reduce mobilisation time and associated costs without any compromise to the quality of our services.”
