25 Genies for MAS

UK based TV and film aerial work platform rental specialist Media Access Solutions (MAS) has taken delivery of 25 Genie aerial lifts in a deal worth £600,000.

The order consists of new and old machines, including one 53ft GS-5390, two 33ft GS-3384 and three 40ft GS-4069 Rough Terrain scissor lifts. Boom lifts include two 125ft Genie S125s, one 80ft Z80, and five 45ft Z45 bi-energy models. All machines were delivered by Genie distributor Workplatform.

Genie S-125

MAS director Tim Kendall Bastock said: "Our team were very impressed with the facility Jonathan and his team have built at Castle Donington and the quality of their used kit. The fact they could paint the kit in the colour we needed and the time frame we needed was pivotal to this deal. I never envisaged buying such large booms so soon, but the 125s were our most utilised rehired machine in the last and first quarter of 2017 and 2018."

"This now takes our fleet to 130 machines from our Leighton Buzzard location. Both S125s will be going onto long term Disney work at Pinewood Studios in early May."
