Lineman electrocuted
A linesman has died after coming into contact with high tension overhead power line while working from a bucket truck in North Carolina, last Tuesday.
T.C. Simpsom, employed by Pike Electric and was working on the power line in Mulberry, Wilkes County, around 80 miles to the northwest of Winston Salem. when the incident occurred. He was rushed to hospital and died from his injuries two days later.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched in order to raise funds to help his family as of the weekend nearly $16,000 had already been donated.
