11 new Liebherrs for Mammoet Texas
Mammoet Americas is expanding its Texas based crane fleet and reorganising its operations, with the addition of a new branch, in order to offer its customers a wider range and greater availability.
The new branch will focus on day to day lifts, shutdowns, turnarounds and plant maintenance in Texas, in addition to supporting project work along the Gulf Coast.
The company is also extending its services to serve smaller lift and transport demands in the region. The new fleet will include the new 130 tonne, five axle Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1, which features a 60 metre main boom and has been ordered with a 22 metre bi-fold swing away extension and a further 10 Liebherr cranes ranging from 110 to 500 tonnes, all of which will arrive before the end of summer.

Pierre Mille, branch manager of Mammoet Americas Texas East said: “This week marks an important milestone for Mammoet USA as we receive the first of 11 brand new Liebherr All Terrain cranes. This will enable us to deepen our presence in Gulf Coast plants and fulfil our clients’ requests to provide day cranes on top of the project work which Mammoet is so well known for.”
