Messe München has postponed this year’s M&T Expo trade fair which was due to take place next week - June 5th to 8th in São Paulo, Brazil.
The postponement is due to “the serious situation and crisis caused by the truck drivers’ strike in Brazil which is blocking the main Brazilian highways.”
The move follows requests from the Brazilian Association of Technology for Construction and Mining (Sobratema) and the majority of exhibitors. The decision was taken on a force majeure basis and, “aims to ensure the safety of all exhibitors, suppliers, service providers and visitors to the trade fair as well as the maintenance of the assets and economic interests of all those involved with the event.”
New dates will be announced as soon as the situation stabilises.
