The Mayor of Dudley councillor Alan Taylor has officially opened the new Böcker UK facility in the West Midlands, kicking off the company’s two day BöckerFest celebrations.
Managing director Alexander Böcker and Alan Peck of Böcker UK welcomed visitors to the Oktober Fest themed open days which included traditional German food and drink and the opportunity to meet the UK team.
A full range of Böcker lifting equipment, including cranes, furniture and construction hoists, personnel lifts, material lifts and aluminium lifting accessories - were available for visitors to see at the new 1,100 square metre workshop, warehousing and office facility.
Among the visitors was Neil Berry of Berry Cranes who purchased the first Böcker crane in the UK 10 years ago. The company was also the first customer to order the AK52 shown recently at Vertikal Days.
An AK466000 three axle crane sold to Steve Foster Cranes of Doverage, Derbyshire was displayed along with the same model sold to Altida of Chesterfield. City Lifting’s RK362400 tracked crawler is also on display.
An Agilo HL34 furniture hoist on display has been sold to a French customer and will be delivered next week.
The event will also be open tomorrow from 10:00 until 16:00.
