Two new Liebherr reachstackers

Liebherr has unveiled two new reachstackers at TOC Europe in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the LRS 545 - 35 and the LRS 545 Log Handler.

The LRS 545 - 35 has a maximum lifting capacity of 35 tonnes in the second container row. The LRS 545 Log Handler has a maximum lifting capacity of 30 tonnes and a maximum grapple capacity of 8.2 square metres, which it can take out to 8.5 metres with a stacking height of up to 8.9 metres, it is also capable of log handling below ground level.

Liebherr LRS 545 - 35

On both models, the new Topview Camera System is also available, and is also an optional feature available for all of the LRS 545 series. The Topview System offers the operator a rear and side view from a bird’s eye perspective, without any blind spots. Due to the composition of three camera images, the complete rear area is covered by the system throughout 270 degrees.

Liebherr LRS 545 Log Handler

Sales director Eric Colditz said: “Since the last three years we collected an enormous amount of valuable feedback from our customers. The operators praise particularly the stepless and gearless driving characteristics of our devices repeatedly. Thanks to the individual wheel drive and the excellent panoramic view from the driver's cab, our reachstackers are well known for their high mobility and all round visibility, even on terminals with narrow container rows.”
