£21 million for EnerMech

UK engineering group EnerMech has landed £21 million worth of new contracts, including a multi million pound North Sea crane management/maintenance contract from a new customer.

EnerMech will provide maintenance and crane management on three North Sea platforms for an unnamed new client. The five year contract, with five one year options, also includes crane operation, onshore support and repair facilities, spare parts, engineering, and consultancy support.

The company has also secured extension on a number of existing contracts. These include a three year extension to its existing cranes and lifting services contract with Maersk Oil UK for the Gryphon Alpha and Global Producer III floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units and the new Culzean gas field assets in the North Sea. There is also a one year extension for Dana Petroleum’s Triton and Western Isles assets, along with a two year extension for Spirit Energy’s Morecambe Bay assets for crane management services.
