JLG training arrives in Malaysia
JLG is launching its new operator safety training courses in Malaysia in partnership with distributors TH Tong Heng Machinery and Aerial Lift & Equipment.
The company is using the IPAF Asia Conference in Kuala Lumpur later this month as the base for the formal launch. Local aerial lift operators will be able to benefit from free online product training courses and sign up for Operator Safety Training conducted by JLG’s official distributors in Malaysia TH Tong Heng Machinery and Aerial Lift & Equipment, using classroom based tutorials, demonstrations, hands on training and assessments.
The company is also using the event for the Asian launch of its Power Towers low level access equipment, including the Power Tower, the Nano, the PecoLift and EcoLift, as well as the Nano SP Zero, Nano SP and Nano SP Plus, with working heights from 3.5 metres to 5.1 metres.
JLG director of engineering and product development for scissor and vertical lifts Shashank Bhatia said: “JLG has collaborated with several partners in the industry and is analysing data and developing tools to ensure the safety of its operators. With an eye to building the safe workplace of the future, we are investing in technologies around aspects that range from operator injury prevention to workplace accident avoidance.”
JLG regional sales and market development director David Border added: “JLG has great confidence in the long term potential of Malaysia's thriving economy. JLG has an important role to play as far as the access industry and improving productivity and mitigating labour costs are concerned.”
