LiuGong and United Overseas Bank partnership
Chinese manufacturer LiuGong has forged a Machinery Financing partnership with United Overseas Bank (UOB) for Southeast Asia.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between LiuGong’s Asia Pacific subsidiary office in Singapore. It was signed between the President of LiuGong Machinery Asia Pacific, and Sector Solutions Group of United Overseas

LiuGong manufactures truck cranes to 50 tonnes, a line of fork trucks and has a joint venture with Isoli to mount the Italian company’s superstructures to Chinese trucks.

Chen Hao of LiuGong Asia Pacific said: “Since LiuGong set up its Asia Pacific subsidiary office in 2011 to export its construction equipment to South East Asia market and we have been gaining market acceptance offering quality products as well as excellent after sales services. Our perseverance and investment has started to pay off and the market has also showed signs of recovery this year. In this first quarter, we experienced more than 50 percent growth increases in sales volume in the Southeast Asia market.”
Karunia Tjuradi of UOB added: “We wanted to work with the top OEMs from China and LiuGong is our top choice and was the first we approached for this programme. Said “We know that LiuGong will materialized their overseas ambitions and UOB is here to fuel that.” he added.
