Another Böcker for Atilda
UK rental company Altida Crane Hire has taken delivery of a six tonne Böcker AK46-6000 aluminium truck crane.
The AK46-6000 has a maximum tip height of 46 metres with the optional two metre boom extension and can take its maximum capacity to eight metres. It joins a fleet that already includes a three tonne Böcker AK35-3000 aluminium truck crane.

Lee Fletcher of Atilda takes delivery of the new AK46-6000
Managing director Lee Fletcher said: “We are very impressed with the first smaller AK35 and what it brings to our company diversifying from the more accepted traditional mobile cranes. It has exceptional duties for such a small compact crane often doing jobs we would send a 30 tonne mobile to undertake.”
“It was an easy decision to make adding the AK46-6000 as it offers 360 degree duties and an incredibly tight turning radius ideal for the smaller construction sites we visit on a day to day basis. It is important to think outside the box and sometimes look at things differently, that’s what we did with the Böcker products and we have never looked back! We look forward to placing many more orders with this great company as we move forward together in the future.”
Established in 2015, Atilda is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and runs a fleet of 23 All Terrain cranes with capacities ranging from three to 160 tonnes.
