JLG updates LRT scissors

JLG has updated its LRT series of Rough Terrain scissor lifts as a result of feedback from customers.

JLG says that the upgraded machines offer smoother operation with new joystick controller and improvement to the control system with finer proportional function control. Left and right steer functions now feature renewed digital inputs for a higher level of functionality and improved response for the operator. Jack levelling has also been improved to deliver more accuracy and quicker levelling, enhanced by integrating a dedicated levelling function within the current lift/drive switch.

JLG 530LRT

The updated 53ft 530LRT scissor lift will use proportional lift valves for the upper and lower lift cylinders, which JLG says will provide a smoother, controlled proportional lift and descent. The 530LRT now has the same steel covers and entrance ladder design as the 33ft 330LRT and the 43ft 430LRT, while all machines in the series have Tier 4 Final diesel engines with new mufflers, lowering the sound level by five percent. Engine noise and vibration levels are also reduced by engine isolators and improved door bumper locations. The tilt sensor is relocated so that it is less prone to damage.

All machine calibrations can now be performed from the stowed position with one click of the analyser, and the refined elevation sensor calibration no longer requires recalibration after a software update.

Additional features include a 60 degree swingout engine tray and fold down ladder, a multifunction digital LCD display with full language readout, rather than fault codes for faster easier troubleshooting.
