BoSS repair centre
Mobile access tower manufacturer WernerCo has opened the BoSS Maintenance and Repair Centre at its UK headquarters in Maldon, Essex, England.
The new facility will provide technical support, tower repairs and maintenance. As part of the offering, the Maintenance and Repair Centre will repair BoSS access towers, podiums and its MiniMax access towers. The initiative is aimed at providing a cost effective alternative to replacement for rental companies and others whose towers may be subject to a high level of wear and tear and ensures that all repairs are fully compliant to the relevant standards.
The centre benefits from the latest plasma cutting and welding technology, while repaired equipment is etched with a unique code to allow users to trace the service history.

Product manager Sophie Ellam said: “Our aftersales service is ideal for our hire customers who are stocking a lot of equipment, which is often on the move. It’s not uncommon for equipment to come back damaged so having towers repaired by the trained BoSS technicians offers a whole host of benefits. It provides users with the assurance that genuine components have been used and quality control procedures have been met. All our repairs conform to the Kitemark standard meaning once repaired a tower is as good as new.”
