Kalmar STS’ for Curaçao
Curaçao Port Services has ordered two Kalmar Panamax ship to shore cranes.
The cranes can lift 40 tonnes, with a radius of 39 metres, and have a lift height up to the spreader of 32 metres. They will be used upgrade the port's container handling operations at the Willemstad Container Terminal. Delivery is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
The island of Curaçao is approximately 35 miles off the north western coast of Venezuela, and the Port of Willemstad is the largest on the island. Curaçao Port Services currently operates two Nelcon-Kalmar ship to shore cranes at Willemstad.
