Spierings expands UK service

Dutch mobile self erecting tower crane manufacturer Spierings is upgrading its UK service and support. The key aspect of this strategy is the appointment of Crowland Cranes as its UK service partner, while it is also cooperating with a number of UK regional DAF dealers.

Spierings, which shipped its 1,000th crane this summer, will continue to send engineers from its factory in the Netherlands when required and will also retain its specialist engineer who is already based in the UK.

Based just outside of Peterborough, Crowland Cranes was established over 35 years ago and is the UK distributor for Grove/Manitowoc, Zoomlion and Ormig cranes. The company also supplies lifting equipment through sister business TMC Lifting Supplies, and new crane sales through its Universal Cranes subsidiary.

Spierings is also cooperating with DAF Dealers in Bristol, Peterborough, Birmingham, London, Edinburgh and Huyton who will assist with servicing the DAF engines on the Spierings cranes.
