Harry McArdle of Easi UpLifts told Vertikal that the new location would provide a wide range of specialist equipment, such as Aichi booms, Falck Schmidt spider lifts, as well as Genie booms and scissors and Bronto truck mounts.

In addition the company may include Valla and Maeda cranes. The intention is to provide the equipment on a rehire basis to other rental companies in the region.

McArdle said “We are not in a hurry we will make the equipment, most of which will be new, available for other rental companies to draw on for cross hire. We can offer off the shelf availability of the best equipment with a reliable delivery service”

The location which has a good deal of indoor storage space, workshops and a showroom will also carry a stock of new and used machines for sale.

The company already has UK locations in Belfast and Glasgow and has built up a substantial international used equipment business, allowing it to turn over its fleet every three years.
