The cheese wedge ramp body, is ideal for crane work with cabins and containers or transporting a wide variety of machinery including aerial work platforms. An electric winch has been fitted to the front of the body to assist with loading, while other options include a ‘post & socket’ fall arrest system and the latest camera and sensor systems to give the driver maximum visibility of vulnerable road users such as cyclists in urban areas.

Operations manager Mitch Barnes said: “I was very impressed with the quality of the builds, competitive pricing and the fact they gave me a detailed build schedule at the beginning that was kept to throughout the program.”

Sterling GP sales director Jarl James added: “We have been working with LC Vehicle Hire for around five years now and supplied in excess of 50 plant bodies to them over this period. We value the long term relationship we have with their team, and value their important niche in the marketplace, taking the hassle of purchasing and maintaining HGV’s away from their clients leaving them free to concentrate on their priorities. We look forward to the relationship continuing in the future.”
