Liebherr for Hall Bros

UK crane rental company Hall Bros has taken delivery of a 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane.

The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 features a 35 metre main boom, at which it can handle 7.4 tonnes at full height when fully extended and 1.1 tonnes at its maximum radius of 31 metres. The crane is also equipped with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger setup system.

Hall Bros’ new Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1

Director Howard Hall said: “Aside from the quality of the Liebherr products that we have become accustomed to over a number of years now, we were keen to have another machine with VarioBase. We first experienced this system on a new LTM 1060-3.1 a couple of years ago and the benefits it brings to an already great machine are outstanding.”

Headquartered in Bridlington, east Yorkshire, Hall Bros also has a depot in York. Its fleet consists of All Terrain cranes up to 500 tonnes, and it also offers fuel distribution, and plumbing and heating services.
