The boom landed on a flat bed truck and a pick up truck
The crane, owned and operated by Nick’s Cranes was lifting tree sections when it overturned, but apparently had just placed a load onto a truck when for some reason it lost stability, slowly tipping over the rear of the carrier. The cause is unknown, but we do know that it is not related to ground conditions and the two rear outriggers appear to be relatively unaffected.
Fortunately no one was injured in the incident which is now being investigated by Safework SA.
