Italy’s CTE comes to Britain

Italian CTE work platforms are to be sold in the UK.

For the first time, UK buyers have the opportunity to buy CTE’s telescopic and articulated boom aerial work platforms. Brian King, formerly of SEV Aerial Access, heads up the operation, which will sell direct to hire companies and end users.

The company has signed a service agreement with well established Planet Platforms Ltd, which has a nationwide network of engineers and can provide IPAF and CITB training courses.

CTE believes that, as the UK starts to look at 3.5 tonne rather than 7.5 tonne chassis, CTE will find its niche, having been very strong in this area in Italy.

Smart Hire of London has given CTE an order worth over £1.2 million already, consisting of 30 ‘S’ and ‘Z’ type booms on Nissan Cabstars.
