Kiloutou up 14 percent

French international rental group Kiloutou has reported total revenues for 2018 of €689 million, an improvement of almost 14 percent on 2017.

Included in the total are overseas revenues of €95 million, almost 33 percent higher on the year, thanks to further acquisitions as well as organic growth. International sales now represent 14 percent of the total. The company which is privately held has not released profit numbers, but said that it was a very good year.

Capital expenditure for the year was €203 million, covering both fleet renewal and expansion as well as the addition of some new products such as 360 degree telehandlers. The company is budgeting €192 million of capital expenditure for 2019.

Kiloutou now operates from 550 locations across five European countries: France, Poland, Spain, Italy and Germany, and is expecting further growth in 2019, both organic and possibly from bolt on acquisitions. The French market is expected to be flat for the year, possibly improving in 2020.
