Six more CTE’s for Skylift
Nationwide Skylift has purchased six Bizzocchi S-15 truck mounted lifts with a platform capacity of 250kgs at up to eight metres outreach (200kgs at nine metres) and extra storage boxes.
The 15 metre straight telescopic S-15 is one of the first machines to benefit from the co-operation with CTE, following the takeover of the Effer-Bizzocchi business by the CTE group last year.
The units are mounted on Nissan Cabstar 3.5 tonne chassis and share a number of components with the CTE Z range, including the sub-frame, outriggers and much of the overload system.
Skylift general manager, Peter Douglas, who now also assumes the role of commercial director of Nationwide access, said:
“We collaborated with CTE to have a bigger basket capacity and also an additional flatbed mounted storage box after consulting our customers. Be it a signage company, a CCTV installer, a tree surgeon or a telecoms contractor the overriding response was that our clients needed to transport and raise their equipment with the minimum of inconvenience within the usual working envelopes.”

“Moreover this purchase represents an on-going programme of investment in self operated machines, with 27 already brought into the country this year and a significant further investment planned for next year” he added.
