52m Palazzani for Lombarda

Italian rental company Lombarda Noleggi has taken delivery of a 52 metre Palazzani XTJ 52+ spider lift.

The bi-energy XTJ 52+ provides an outreach of 19.5 metres with unrestricted capacity of 120kg, while 14.5 metres is possible with the 400kg maximum platform capacity. It has also been delivered with a 500kg hydraulic winch, allowing it to be converted to a spider crane. It immediately went out on its first contract upgrading antennas as part of the 5G network development programme.

The company said: “Our experience with high Palazzani spider lifts began years ago with the purchase of a Ragno XTJ 43. The result of the partnership between the two companies was very positive, both in terms of use of the purchased machines and in terms of versatility for different types of jobs or rental applications. It is precisely for this reason that we wanted to improve and include the Ragno XTJ 52+ in our fleet. We chose this model configured with the hydraulic winch able to lift 500 kg, an accessory that we hope will allow us to perform other types of jobs or rental applications and to offer a wider range of services.”

Established in 1982, Lombarda Noleggi is based in Milan, northern Italy. Its fleet contains spider lifts, truck mounted platforms, scissor lifts, boom lifts, mast booms and forklifts.
