New director for Maqel

Maqel, the JLG distributor for Spain and Portugal, has appointed Oscar Bravo as managing director.

He joins the company after more than 20 years in associated businesses having started out as an engineering student in the training department of fork truck sales and rental company Barloworld. He has also worked with Compass in Chile, Hertz rental where he was director of sales and operations returning to Barloworld/Finanzauto the Cat dealer, moving through the ranks to head up Barloworld Mera covering both Spain and Portugal.

Barcelona based Plataformas Elevadoras Maqel was established in June 2016 as part of an agreement between JLG and a finance/investment house and took over as the JLG distributor for the Iberian peninsula that same year.
