Another Liebherr for Emsley

UK rental company Emsley Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 90 tonne Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 All Terrain crane.

The four axle LTM 1090-4.2 has a 60 metre main boom, plus a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of just under 80 metres.

Emsley’s new LTM 1090-4.2

Technical director Tom Emsley said: “Following a visit to the Liebherr factory the decision to purchase a number of cranes, including the LTM 1090-4.2, was an easy one. The machine is compact and versatile and with the added bonus of the VarioBallast and VarioBase will be a great asset to our fleet. We are extremely happy with our latest Liebherr cranes and will be placing an order for more once Brexit has been finalised.”

Established in 1947, family owned Emsley is managed by John and Peter, the sons of founder Joe Emsley. The company runs a fleet of 64 cranes made up of All Terrain, truck mounted, city type and mobile tower models from depots in Harrogate and Doncaster.
