Irish service for Versalift

Versalift UK has appointed Mooretown Precision Engineering as its new service provider for the Republic of Ireland.

The company will provide service support for both new and existing platforms, of which there are around 1,000 units. It will undertake repairs, inspections, servicing, refurbishments and warranty repairs.

Established in 1999, family run Mooretown specialises in manufacturing, truck body installation and aerial lift maintenance. Its customers include local authorities, utility companies, electrical contractors, rental companies and end users. The company employs 12 and is based in Mooretown, Ratoath, County Meath.

Managing director Noel Carey said: “We are pleased to be appointed as authorised service agents for Versalift. Many of the companies we provide a service for have Versalift units and require backup support and warranty here. We are investing in training for our team of engineers and look forward to continued success between our two companies.”

Versalift UK product support manager Neil Ashton added: “Noel and his team at Mooretown Precision Engineering have over 20 years of experience in the access business and are well respected and used by all of our current customers. This appointment will help us improve stock levels and increase the number of service engineers on the road to improve response times. We look forward to working with Noel and his team.”
