UK rental company Birmingham Crane Hire Company (BCHC) has taken delivery of a 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane.
The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 features a 35 metre main boom and can handle 7.4 tonnes on the fully extended boom and or take 1.1 tonnes to its maximum radius of 31 metres. The crane is also equipped with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger setup system.
Sales director Mark Weatherson said: “At Birmingham Crane Hire we are committed to achieving a modern, versatile and adaptable fleet. Since purchasing our first Liebherr in 2016 we have continued to invest in a manufacturer whose products we believe in. We have seen the advantages of VarioBase with our LTM 1060 and with this added benefit on our new LTM 1040 we feel that we can offer our clients an even greater level of adaptability and service.”
Established in 1981 by James, David and Alastair Weatherson, Birmingham Crane Hire is based in central England and runs a fleet of All Terrain cranes, truck cranes and mobile tower cranes.
