More Liebherrs for AB2000

Scottish crane rental company AB2000 has taken delivery of two Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 and 40 tonne LTM 1040-2.1.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a maximum radius of 48 metres. The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 features a 35 metre main boom and can handle 7.4 tonnes on the fully extended boom, or take 1.1 tonnes to its maximum radius of 31 metres.

Following the sale of AB2000 last year to UK rental company Quattro Plant, this is the first crane order placed by Quattro.

AB2000’s new Liebherrs

Managing director John Murphy said: “We are delighted to have taken delivery of the two new cranes. The vehicles are great new additions to our already comprehensive fleet and we are sure that they will provide an exciting ‘lift’ to the significant crane division within AB2000. As a group, we are continually looking to deliver the very best equipment to suit the ever-growing needs of our customers. With this in mind we have worked closely with the team at Liebherr to make sure that the vehicles meet the specifications that our clients require, and are confident that they will continue to raise the standard of crane hire in Scotland and the UK.”
