Another German acquisition for Kiloutou

French rental group Kiloutou has acquired German powered access rental company Werner Middeke Arbeitsbühnenvermietung.

The company is based in Erwitte between Dortmund and Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia, it also operates from branches in Erfurt, Münster and Holzwickede, with a fleet of 530 platforms, including self propelled boom and scissor lifts, along with trailer lifts, spider lifts and truck mounts up to 58 metres. It also runs a fleet of telehandlers and forktrucks. In total it employs 50 staff across the four locations. Please register to see all images



The latest acquisition follows acquisition of Paderborn based M+S Arbeitsbühnen in June and reinforces the company’s presence in the region. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals but is expected to close by the end of the year. Once completed the operation will be integrated into the Kiloutou Germany operation.

The expansion in Germany is part of the group’s international expansion programme, which over the past six years has taken it to Poland, Spain and Italy as well as Germany. Only last month it acquired Italian rental company Sticar of Padua.
