First Dutch Demag AC 45 City

Dutch sales and rental company Crane Concept has taken delivery of a 45 tonne Demag AC 45 City All Terrain crane, the first in the country.

The AC 45 features a 31.2 metre main boom and can telescope loads of up to 19.7 tonnes. A 7.1 to 13 metre offsettable swingaway extension takes the maximum on board tip height to over 45 metres.

General manager Theo de Boer said: “The thing that really sold us on this crane was the fact that the IC-1 Plus provides it with the necessary flexibility to work with any outrigger configuration. And that means that it is also the perfect unit for tough jobs where space is really tight. As far as I am concerned, there is no other brand with that level of quality and trailblazing innovation, and the new Demag AC 45 City is proof of that.”

Tadano Demag Netherlands sales manager Marc Dirkse added: “The Demag AC 45 City that we delivered to Crane Concept was also the first in the world to ever have a second winch and runner.”

Crane Concept is based in Spijkenisse near Rotterdam, with another location in Barcelona, Spain. Its crane fleet includes models ranging from 40 to 130 tonnes.dE
