UK rental company KAS Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 100 tonne Grove GMK4100L-1 All Terrain crane.
The four axle GMK4100L-1 features a 60 metre pinned main boom and an 11.1 to 17.6 metre telescopic swingaway extension. It is the first unit in the country to be delivered with a special UK version counterweight.
Manager Andrew Smith said: “The 4100L-1 is our flagship machine and we chose it due to its extremely strong duty chart in its taxi configuration. It was important for us as a family business to take all aspects of the purchase into consideration and this was made easy for us given the great service Manitowoc crane care has provided with our existing 3055 and the excellent relationship we have with the sales team.”
Manitowoc UK sales manager James Leishman added: “On behalf of all at Manitowoc I would like to thank everyone at KAS Crane Hire for their recent purchase.”
Established in 1983, KAS Crane Hire is based in Barnstaple, Devon. It runs a rental fleet of All Terrain and loader cranes, as well as forklifts.
