230t Liebherr for Scholl
German crane rental and transport company Karl Scholl has taken delivery of a 230 tonne Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 All Terrain crane.
The five-axle LTM 1230-5.1 features a 75 metre telescopic boom and a 39 metre luffing jib, the VarioBase outrigger set up system, which creates a load chart to the actual outrigger configuration and the VarioBallast variable counterweight system.
Scholl managing director Wolfgang Schneider, said: “The new LTM 1230-5.1 delivers excellent crane capacity in the five-axle class and is flexible to use. It also fits perfectly into our fleet from a logistics point of view. It can be made ready for use quickly and is flexible. Its 75 metre telescopic boom and its variable lattice extensions make it ideal for use in the chemical and construction industries. Its variable support base and reducible ballast radius enables us to use the new crane even better in constricted environments."
