TRT to handle Kobelco cranes

Kobelco has announced the appointment of New Zealand based Tidd Ross Todd (TRT) as its new crane distributor for the Oceania region.

Established in 1967, TRT is based in Hamilton, New Zealand and manufacturers the Tidd line of pick & carry cranes as well as representing Hiab in New Zealand, where it has three locations. It also represents Grove cranes in its home country and through its Australian operation - Queensland based TRT Australia - which is the Grove and Manitowoc dealer in the state. Going forward, it will become a key centre of operations for the Kobelco crane sales and product support in the region.

The Oceania territory includes New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and Fiji. The move follows the resignation of long time Kobelco distributor ACM last month.

The announcement this morning from Kobelco said: “This new partnership reflects both organisations’ commitment to outstanding customer service and support throughout the region.
